刀具加工管理

With the advancement of modern manufacturing, intelligent machine tools are increasingly used. Tool processing centers, equipped with CNC machines and tool changers, have become mainstream in machining workshops. Efficient and stable tool changing is crucial for continuous production, making tool identification essential.

Tools are essential in modern manufacturing but pose management challenges due to their variety, large quantity, frequent use, and high wear rates. Ineffective tool management directly impacts production efficiency and costs. According to recent statistics from the Machine Tool Association, the role of tools in production-related issues has increased from 12% in 2000 to 17.5% today.

Through research and site visits, we identified several key management issues:

1. Lack of basic data management: The vast variety and quantity of tools lead to reliance on manual or Excel-based tracking, which is inefficient, error-prone, and lacks data security.

2. High workload for tool room staff: The existing systems are labor-intensive, leading to a high error rate and reduced efficiency.

Tool data is not transparent or shared, causing inefficiency and duplication. Delayed inventory alerts lead to procurement issues, while over-purchasing wastes capital.
